In 1997, ICBC New York Representative Office established.
In 2008, ICBC New York Branch established.
In 2009, ICBC New York Branch officially opened to public. The Branch became the clearing participant bank for Fedwire and CHIPS.
In 2010, ICBC acquired Fortis Securities’ Prime Dealer Service unit. ICBC Fincail Services LLC began operations.
In 2012, ICBC acquired an 80% interest in the Bank of East Asia (USA), and the name was changed to ICBC (USA).
In 2014, ICBC FS became the first Chinese member of the NYSE.
In 2015, ICBC acquired a 60% controlling stake in Standard Bank’s London-based Global Markets business, renaming it ICBC Standard Bank Plc.
